University of Bordeaux is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Junior Professor in Quantum Information and Communication. We are looking for a candidate with a particular interest in the field of quantum algorithmics and/or quantum information and communication.

LABRI is a leading research institution in computer science and mathematics, with a particular focus on the fields of algorithms, cryptography, and quantum information. The NAQUIDIS Center is fully dedicated to build collaborations between industrials and researchers to accelerate the time to market for disruptive quantum products and solutions.

Your role

  • Conducting high-quality research in quantum algorithmics and/or quantum information and communication.
  • Teaching and supervising undergraduate and graduate students in related courses.
  • Collaborating with other members of the research team and external partners.
  • Contributing to the development of the LABRI research program.

Required skills:

  • A Ph.D. in computer science, physics, mathematics or a related field; research and teaching experience
  • Demonstrated potential for high-quality research.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
