TOPTICA France, french hub of the TOPTICA group, world-leading manufacturer of high-power low-noise fiber lasers and amplifiers is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with a particular interest in the field of innovative laser source for quantum applications.
Focus on the Labcom Starlight+
The Labcom Starlight+ is a joint initiative between LP2N (Laboratoire Photonique, Numérique et Nanosciences) and Toptica France (formerly Azurlight Systems). This laboratory has been the birthplace of several major advances in laser sources for the quantum industry, and the founding partners have ambitious plans for growth and expansion following the implication of Toptica Photonics and the award of several major financed projects.

Your role
Collaborating with the R&D Manager your role will include:
– Innovative and fundamental new projects from proof of concept (TRL3) to prototype demonstration (TRL6)
– Focusing each technological solutions in phase with reliable and easy to manufacture products
– Ensuring efficient project management (time, budget, and deliverables)
– Reporting to the company all success or issues related to research projects
Your profile
– PhD in laser and optics with more than 2 years of experience in fiber laser research and development and team management
– Expertise in fiber technology (splice and recoat) and non-linear processes (SHG, SFG, DFG)
– Interest in innovative R&D challenges, from proof of concept to final product according to our laser roadmap
– Interest in performing experiments in lab environment with a dynamic team of technicians, scientists and engineers focused on delivering on objectives
